Why should I come?
If you’re a fan of the Vintage Furniture Flea or Judy’s Vintage (We have been in Bristol & London for over 15 years). Then you’re going to absolutely love The Big Cardiff Flea!! We’ve combined your favourite vintage markets, expanded into our amazing, huge new venue and after the huge success of our first foray into Cardiff in March we are back – this time with a tonne of new traders for a bank holiday big flea special!!
Imagine, a massive mid-century furniture market, with cool little bric-a-brac stalls thrown in the mix to make the perfect recipe for a proper lovely, super cool Indie Flea!!
Then you can add in some plant stalls, and a good mix of vintage fashion (thanks to our sister company Judy’s Vintage) and a smattering of the best designer makers from around the UK.
You then need to add some super tasty street food stalls, perhaps chuck a bar in the mix. You can sip a beer, maybe its some lovely local, indie craft company in a tin with a cartoon dog on it (again made it up, but if we find some we will serve them up)
You give it a big stir and pop it in the oven on 180 for around 4 hours and you have the perfect Bank Holiday Monday.
We are giddy with excitement!
How do I get there and what’s Depot?
You can easily reach us by foot from the back of Cardiff Central train station. It’s a 5-10min walk along Penarth Road. Head towards the Big Yellow Self Storage building, and turn left down Curran Embankment and then it’s the first left and then head down Williams Way. Keep walking until you reach the end of the street and you will see the DEPOT signs on your right.
There is free parking on the streets surrounding. DEPOT does have parking but there is a charge by the venue so here is the link to pay for parking….. https://www.seetickets.com/…/the-big…/depot/2991477 It is however only a short walk from Cardiff train station and we encourage people to arrive by foot.

You could be selling your own stuff or maybe you’re a seasoned mid-century furniture dealer or shop owner – we love to welcome everyone to our flea – thats what makes it so super special!!

After receiving thousands of 5⭐ reviews for their events and selling out hundreds of shows around the UK. The award winning, Teach Rex team are delighted to be bringing this unique, interactive show back to the families of Cardiff!
Teach Rex uses life-like dinosaurs to perform their 1 hour show, teaching children about the anatomy and life of one the most mesmerising creatures that have ever roamed our planet. The show is teamed with effects, music and gives children and their families the chance to get up close and personal with these fantastic, realistic beasts.
The new show will delve into the jaws of one of the most iconic dinosaurs to ever roam the world, the TREX. Delivered by primary school teachers, the team will take the audience on an interactive, prehistoric journey, pinpointing misconceptions surrounding this beast!
The show is suitable for children of all ages (3+ recommended) and has even proven to be extremely popular with adults. The educational part of the show runs for approximately 1 hour followed by a dinosaur meet and greet when families can get photographs next to the beasts whilst enjoying a dance.
